Arsenal boss Unai Emery must sell players to fund swoop for Sevilla’s World Cup winner Steven N’Zonzi
Emery knows that he must raise funds before he can sign N'Zonzi – with Aaron Ramsey one player who could depart
UNAI EMERY wants Steven N'Zonzi but knows Arsenal must sell before they can land the Sevilla midfielder, according to reports.
The Spanish club are said to want £26.7million for their World Cup winner amid interest from the Gunners and Roma.
But report that Emery has been told he must shift players before bringing in any more.
Arsenal have spent £69.2m in this window bringing in Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Matteo Guendouzi.
Former Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner also arrived on a free.
If Emery is desperate to land N'Zonzi, who he won the Europa League with at Sevilla, then Aaron Ramsey is one player they could sell to raise funds.

Emery has made it clear that he sees Ramsey as a key player but he is locked in a contract stand-off.
The Welshman has just a year left on his current deal and can agree to join a club abroad in January as things stand.
Chelsea have shown an interest and are being linked with a £30m move.
Emery has made 53-cap midfielder Ramsay captain in three of Arsenal's pre-season friendlies, including the 5-1 demolition of PSG on Saturday.
