Arsenal in ‘a good place’ ahead of Premier League season says Petr Cech after victory over Chelsea

PETR CECH claims Arsenal are in "a good place" – even though they have just one game before the start of the season.
Unai Emery’s side proved they remain a major work in progress during their
Arsenal now take on Lazio in Stockholm on Saturday before their opening Premier League match at home to Manchester City a week from Sunday.
There are also injury worries over Sead Kolasinac, who injured his knee in Ireland, and Aaron Ramsey, who suffered a calf strain in the warm-up.
Cech said: "Step by step we are getting there. We have one more game to prepare.
"It’s always tricky for everybody when you have players coming later and then you have to catch up. We have some players missing, but I think we are in a good place.

"We have a week and a half to prepare for the first game of the season I think is to our advantage. It is just a shame to see Sead leaving the pitch. Hopefully it is not going to be anything long.
"We are set up a different way, playing a different way from the back. We press high on the pitch when we can. Every manager is different - wants you to play in a different way. We work on that during the pre-season and I think we are improving with every game."
Cech looks set for a major fight on his hands following the arrival of keeper Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen.
Asked whether he has been given any assurances from Emery, Cech said: "No. We still have games to play.
"Obviously for every player you do your best, then the manager has his choice to make."
