French giants Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille have expressed an interest in the Argentina international.

And Zenit St Petersburg are willing to take him back to Russia — to the stadium where he scored a famous winner this summer to keep his country in the World Cup.

Jose Mourinho is willing to sell the 28-year-old for the right price as the United boss looks to bolster his defence with a change of personnel.

Rojo has spent four years at Old Trafford and agreed a fresh long-term contract last season.

But he suffered injury problems last season and Mourinho could free up room in his squad by agreeing to let him leave.

Everton are looking for a left-sided centre-back for the new season, with Ashley Williams set to leave for Stoke on loan.

Rojo, 28, has been told he can leave Manchester United.

The centre-half has already fallen behind Chris Smalling and Phil Jones in the pecking order and was not part of the pre-season tour of America because he has a knock.
