Daniela Basso: Mexican actress, who is dating Wolves’ leading man Raul Jimenez, attracts headlines on screen and stage
No shortage of drama in the Jimenez household with the loan striker's missus having starred in a number of soaps in her native Mexico
IT'S not often footballers date actresses.
But Raul Jimenez, on loan at Wolves and hoping to make a splash in the Premier League, has scored himself a leading lady.
The Mexican forward, who had a spell at Atletico Madrid under Diego Simeone from 2014-15, has been dating stunning Latina, Daniela Basso since 2017.
Daniela has starred in a number of telenovelas, otherwise known as soaps, in Mexico.
She was best known for appearing in Simplemete María' (Simply Maria) as Yolanda between 2015-16, before it was cancelled.
Previously, she took on the role of Juanita in Que te perdone Dios (Ask God For Forgiveness... Not Me).
Despite appearing on screen only in her homeland, we're sure Daniela has much more to give.
And judging by her Instagram page, she must have casting directors regularly sending her scripts.
Daniela isn't shy in posting the odd bikini snap, flashing her bikini body poolside for her 148,000 followers.
The gorgeous brunette is also clearly a big football fan, following her beau all over the world, including most recently cheering him on in Russia at the World Cup.
Ever the supportive Wag, Daniela doesn't hold back on her fandom - often wearing the green of Mexico in the stands.
But now, she must swap her colours for the traditional gold and black of Wolves if she wants to be taken as a serious football fan.
And there's sure to be a lot of drama this upcoming season in the West Midlands.
Of course, Daniela will be used to that though.
