Celtic drawn against Malmo or Vidi in Champions League playoff round should they beat AEK Athens
CELTIC have been drawn against the winners of the tie between Malmo and Vidi FC in the Champions League playoff round.
The Hoops are set to face Greek champions AEK Athens in the third qualifying round this week.
But they now know who will they go up against should they progress to the final stage of the Champions League qualifiers.
Brendan Rodgers will go up against the winners of the tie between Swedish side Malmo and Hungarian club Vidi FC in the playoff round, and will play away from home first.
The first leg will take place on either August 21 or 22, with the return leg taking place on either August 28 or 29.
Celtic will have made it through four qualifying rounds if they make it to the group stage of the competition again this season.
Brendan Rodgers' men saw off Armenian side Alashkert and Norwegian champions Rosenborg in the first two rounds.
And they will welcome AEK Athens to Parkhead on Wednesday before travelling to the Greek capital next week for the second leg.
The Greeks are confident ahead of the third qualifying round clashes with the Hoops.
They sent their chief scout, Vasilis Armatas, to Celtic's games against Rosenborg and Livingston to find out more about them.
