Jamie Carragher returns to Sky Sports on Premier League Launch Show five months after spitting scandal shame

The former Liverpool defender was back on the TV yesterday as he appeared alongside Gary Neville ahead of the new season

JAMIE CARRAGHER returned to Sky Sports yesterday - five months after being suspended for spitting at a schoolgirl.

Carragher was taken off screens in March until the end of the season after he was filmed spitting at the 14-year-old from his Range Rover after covering Liverpool's loss to Manchester United.

The 40-year-old apologised in an interview on Sky News following the footage of the spit being shared and spoke to the family involved in the incident.

Just three weeks after his suspension from Sky Sports, he was picked up by TV3 Sport, a Danish broadcaster, to cover the Champions League.
