Pogba's agent Mino Raiola, a key figure in his then-record £89million move to United, is pushing the midfielder towards a move to Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.

The controversy-prone United ace 25, may yet head to Spain too, with their transfer window open until the end of the month.

Reports suggest Pogba is angling towards a move away from Old Trafford this summer with Barcelona leading the race.

One of the key reasons is his lack of love for boss Mourinho, who has time and time again bemoaned the performances of his stars, including Pogba.

With his contract at United running until 2021, it would potentially take a monster offer from the La Liga champions to bring him to the Nou Camp.

And Barcelona are willing to wait until their own deadline day, on August 31, to conclude a last-ditch deal.

There is every chance Pogba could start for United tonight as they take on Leicester in their first competitive game of the season.

Mourinho is set to be without SIX first-team stars with Sergio Romero, Antonio Valencia, Marcos Rojo, Diogo Dalot, Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic all out.

That means Fred is tipped to make his debut, with Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez leading the line.

Ahead of the game, Pogba - wearing a baseball cap - was seen chatting away on the phone as he prepared for the pre-match meeting with Mourinho and his team-mates.

Should Pogba stay at Old Trafford, he's set to demand a whopping £200,000-A-WEEK pay-rise to keep him happy.

The France midfielder wants to close the gap to top-earner Sanchez, after informing Ed Woodward he fancies a fresh start at a new club.

The bumper pay-boost would see Pogba pocket £380,000-a-week, with Raiola putting the ball in United's court.
