Arsenal Fan TV forced into ‘rebrand’ after club ask them to remove team name amid fears of toxic association
The club have made the order due to breaches in copyright and will force the YouTube channel into a major overhaul
ARSENAL FAN TV has been forced into 'rebrand' after the football club held discussions with the YouTube channel.
It is understood unauthorised use of the copyrighted 'Arsenal' for audio and visual recordings was having a negative impact on the club.
The channel was set up in October 2012. It is described as the "No1 fan channel on YouTube" and was "set up by Arsenal fans for Arsenal fans".
It has just over 820,000 subscribers with a total number of views currently over 487,500,000 across its 9,129 uploaded videos.
Created by former radio host Robbie Lyle, regulars on the channel include Claudio 'Claude' Callegari, Ty, Mr DT and Troopz.
The latest of which was a ten-minute video analysing Unai Emery's first Premier League game in charge, the 2-0 home defeat to Manchester City.

It is understood Arsenal did not send a cease and desist letter but that discussions were held between the club and the channel.
Arsenal Fan TV has been rebranded as @AFTVMedia on Twitter and Instagram, with the previous handle of @ArsenalFanTV tweeting the news.
There is even an online store where fans of the channel can purchase Arsenal-related merchandise.
