Leicester ace Wilfred Ndidi signs new SIX-YEAR contract after interest from Arsenal and Liverpool

WILFRED NDIDI has been handed a whopping new SIX-YEAR Leicester deal.
Foxes bosses acted to tie down the Nigerian World Cup star, 21, amid growing interest from rivals Arsenal and Liverpool.
Jamie Vardy had already penned fresh terms and the club are hopeful fellow England star Harry Maguire will be next.
Midfielder Ndidi joined for £18.45million from Belgian side Genk in 2017.
He said: "I’m thrilled to sign for six more years.
"I hope we can look forward to many more fantastic moments. I’ve enjoyed every moment of my time with the club."
Ndidi played in both of Leicester's opening games this season against Manchester United and Wolves.
Last season he made three assists in 33 Premier League games.
The Foxes are thrilled to have secured his long-term future.
A club statement read: "Leicester City Football Club is delighted to confirm that Wilfred Ndidi has signed a new contract, keeping him at King Power Stadium until June 2024.
"In the 18 months since his arrival from Belgian side Genk, the 21-year-old has developed into one of the Premier League's most exciting talents as well as a key member of Leicester City's first team squad."
