PREMIER LEAGUE PREVIEW

Bournemouth vs Everton prediction, preview and team news with Eddie Howe wary of Richarlison threat

Eddie Howe's side have seen off Cardiff and West Ham already this season and will be desperate to make it a hat-trick of victories when they welcome Marco Silva's Everton to the Vitality Stadium

BOURNEMOUTH will be hoping to continue their 100 per cent record in the Premier League this season when they face Everton on Saturday.

Eddie Howe's side have started the season with wins over Cardiff and West Ham and welcome the Toffees to the Vitality Stadium for a 3pm kick-off.

Marco Silva has an in-form Richarlison at his disposal and if their previous meetings are anything to go by, it should be entertaining.

Set-piece specialist

Everton's opener in their 2-1 win over Southampton came from a brilliantly-worked free-kick routine, straight off the training ground.

Leighton Baines passed to Morgan Schneiderlin, who played a disguised pass which Theo Walcott latched on to and poked home.

Weakest link

Danny Ings scored for Southampton from a corner at Goodison Park and without the suspended Phil Jagielka, Silva will be wary of the threat Bournemouth pose through the likes of Nathan Ake and Steve Cook, who scored against West Ham.

Mason Holgate and Michael Keane started the win over the Saints but Silva may turn to new signing Kurt Zouma to strengthen the defence.

The stat that matters

Fans could be in for a treat with 25 goals in their their six Premier League meetings, including a 3-3 draw in their first match back in 2015 and a 6-3 Everton win last year.

There has never been a 0-0 between these sides so you won't want Jordan Pickford or Asmir Begovic in your Dream Team this weekend.

What the boss said

Marco Silva spoke to the media on Thursday and spoke about Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson.

He said: "It is not a surprise to see how quickly he’s [Richarlison] settled in and that he’s started scoring important goals. He can also support and help with and without the ball.

"Sigurdsson is fantastic. He is really enjoying what he is doing. When he finds space he can do something important for us."

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is aware of the threat Richarlison could pose: "Marco has changed their way of playing and they've had two good results

"It will be a really good game with two teams playing a good style of football. Richarlison has made a good start - much like he did last season. He's a good young player under a good manager - we need to impose ourselves on the game."

Likely line-ups

After his assist on Saturday, Schneiderlin is out of the game through injury and Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes also miss out but we could see full debuts for Lucas Digne and Zouma while the hosts will look to be unchanged.

Bournemouth: Begovic, Smith, Cook, Ake, Daniels, Brooks, Surman, Gosling, Fraser, Wilson, King

Everton: Pickford, Coleman, Zouma, Keane, Baines, Gueye, Davies, Walcott, Sigurdsson, Richarlison, Tosun

West Ham 1-2 Bournemouth: Callum Wilson solo goal seals comeback win to keep Cherries’ 100% record and leave Hammers looking for first point

Prediction

This one is surely going to produce goals based on the previous results between the two and both sides scoring two in both of their previous two games.
