PAUL POGBA has thrown his Manchester United future in doubt - and admitted his relationship with Jose Mourinho is purely professional.
Pogba has been linked with a move to Barcelona amid suggestions he has fallen out with United boss Mourinho.
And the £98million midfielder has opened the door to quitting Old Trafford - even as soon as January - by claiming the next few months will decide where his future lies.
Pogba, 25, said: "My future is currently in Manchester, I still have a contract, I'm playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months."
When asked about claims his relationship with Mourinho had broken down, the France star nodded and said only: "We have a pure coach-player relationship, that's right.
"One thing I can assure you, I will always give 100 percent, no matter which coach I always give everything for United - I cannot say more."
Pogba's relationship with Mourinho has been growing increasingly fractured with the United boss unhappy at the lack of discipline in his record signing's tactical play.
Their tense relationship has not been helped by the constant sniping from the midfielder's agent Mino Raiola, who has touted his man around Europe's biggest clubs.
Barcelona made their interest know over the close season but United have been unwilling to listen to offers for a player they broke the world record to sign from Juventus in 2016.
Yet Barca's interest has remained and this week Luis Suarez was the latest star at the club to urge the Frenchman to move to the Nou Camp.
With Raiola constantly in the ear of his player behind the scenes, Pogba is becoming increasingly unsettled with life at Old Trafford - especially with the team struggling to compete with Manchester City in the Premier League.
His current £200,000-a-week contract still has the best part of three seasons left to run, but even that has caused problems because Raiola is demanding parity with the £300,000-a-week Alexis Sanchez is paid.
Suggesting the next few months will decide his future throws open the possibility of a stunning move when the transfer window opens in January.
Barca are the clear front-runners in the race for his signature while former club Juventus are also keen - though whether they could afford to take him back to Turin is in question.
