Who is Ryan Babel?

The Dutch international was born December 19, 1986 in Amsterdam.

The 31-year-old winger, started his youth career at local sides SV Diemen and ASV Fortius.

He eventually moved to Ajax at the age of 12.

How many Holland caps does Ryan Babel have?

The winger made his international debut on March 26, 2005 against Romania at 19-years-old.

But injuries and poor form has seen him in and out of the team.

Babel was selected to go to the 2010 World Cup, where Holland lost in the final to Spain - but he did not play in any games through the tournament in South Africa.

He is winning his 51st cap against France, having scored seven goals so far at senior international level.

Who does Ryan Babel play for?

The Dutch winger is currently at Turkish side Besiktas.

After leaving Ajax in 2007, he spent nearly four years at Liverpool, before heading to Hoffenheim.

A year in Germany was followed by a return to Ajax, before spending time at Kasimpasa, Al Ain and Deportivo La Coruna prior to his move to Besiktas.

Babel has won six trophies in his career, including the Dutch Eredivisie and Turkish Super Lig.
