Manchester City star David Silva wants to leave in 2020 and join Las Palmas
Spanish midfielder wants to return home to Gran Canaria so son Mateo can grow up on the same island he did

DAVID SILVA has revealed he would like to leave Manchester City in 2020 and join Spanish side Las Palmas.
The midfielder, 32, wants baby boy Mateo to grow up in his dad's homeland of Gran Canaria.
Las Palmas were relegated from La Liga last season but the move is about more than footballing reasons for family man Silva.
He flew back and forth to Valencia frequently as Mateo fought for his life after being born 15 weeks prematurely last December.
Silva's partner Yessica sat by Mateo's bedside and Silva - who told SunSport he was "scared to death" he would lose his son - said he did not sleep or eat properly through all the anguish.
And a more normal way of life is part of the reason the World Cup winner is looking to return home.

He said: "For City [I want to play for] two more seasons — what’s left on my contract.
"After that, I don’t know. It depends on how I feel physically and mentally. I’ve always said that I’d like to play for Las Palmas — my local team.
"But we’ll see how things go in two years and take it all from there.
";I’d like him [Mateo] to grow up where I’m from.
"That’s where I was brought up and I really hope he can have the same opportunities as I’ve had.
"I hope he likes sports and if he gets into football we’ll help him."
