MANCHESTER CITY made a heart-warming gesture to two of their longest-serving fans on Saturday.
Vera Cohen, 102, led out the teams at the Etihad Stadium, along with her sister Olga Halon, 98, ahead of City's Premier League clash against Fulham.
The champions posted a video on their Twitter account of the duo - who have been season ticket holders since 1930 - walking out onto the field.
The pair embraced City manager Pep Guardiola in the dugout before kick-off.
Grandson David Goldsmith said: "Basically, Grandma Vera is a legend.
"She's raised over £23,000 for The Christie hospital in Manchester since 2001, through her baking."
The pensioners were joined by Vera's great grandsons Max Goldsmith, 10, and Sammy Goldsmith, 4.
Vera and Olga were also visited by Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany last year as part of the club's "We're Nothing Without You" campaign.
Amazingly, they do not hold the record for the oldest mascots in history.
That feat is held by Preston fan, Bernard Jones, 105, who led his team out against Sheffield Wednesday on the opening weekend of the 2017/18 Championship season.
It was a day to remember for the sisters - as their side romped to a 3-0 victory over the Whites.
Leroy Sane, David Silva and Raheem Sterling were all on target for Guardiola's men.
