Spanish left-back Alonso pointed out that the official Fantasy Premier League had not credited him with the assist.

The account tweeted the goal, naming Willian, but next to the assist it said 'none'.

Along with three disappointed emojis, Alonso wrote: "1st time I got called none."

Yet there is little else to be upset about at Stamford Bridge so far this season.

Victory over Cardiff saw Maurizio Sarri continue his perfect start to life at the West London club.

Eden Hazard scored a hat-trick before Brazilian forward Willian struck the fourth to see Chelsea go top of the Prem on goal difference.

Liverpool are the only other team to have a 100 per cent record in the opening weeks of the season.

Jurgen Klopp's team beat Tottenham at Wembley Stadium in the early kick-off.

Chelsea's next outing comes in the Europa League as they travel to Greece on Thursday to face PAOK in their first group game.
