Caen fans had best seats in house for 2-2 draw with Lyon… in a pitch-side HOT TUB

Two supporters stripped down to their swimsuits to watch the Ligue 1 game

FORGET Manchester City's tunnel club, two Caen FC supporters watched their team from the comfort of a pitch-side hot tub.

During the 2-2 draw against Lyon on Saturday, the fans stripped down to their swimsuits and jumped into the bubbling bath.

The bizarre scenes were, of course, part of a promotional stunt.

Caen FC have a partnership with a Hotel SPA and the pitch-side pair were intended to draw attention.

But this was not the first time spectators had watched a game from a hot-tub.

In February, three supporters of Danish Alka Superliga side Hobro IK won a competition to watch their team from a warm bath.

It was much more necessary on that occasion for outside the tub the pitch was covered in snow.

Back in Caen, it was centre-back Alexander Djiku who was in real hot water.

Just ten minutes into the second-half, the Caen defender was sent off and the hosts were unable to hold onto their lead.

Ferland Mendy scored an equaliser for Lyon with just two minutes remaining of the game.

It had been an entertaining game to watch wherever you were sat.

Nabil Fekir, who had been expected to join Liverpool in the summer, scored a sensational free-kick that left the goalkeeper rooted to the spot.

Caen struck back in the second 45 with goals from Claudio Beauvue and Prince Oniangue, before the dramatic late equaliser.
