Marko Arnautovic uncertain whether he’ll be fit to face Chelsea after hobbling off with knee injury in Everton win
West Ham's Austrian striker scored his third goal of the season at Goodison Park
WEST HAM'S leading man Marko Arnautovic is uncertain whether he'll be fit to face Chelsea next week after limping off at Goodison Park.
The striker scored the third goal in a 3-1 win over Everton - their first of the season - but hobbled off three minutes later with a knee injury.
The 29-year-old held his head in his hands as he received treatment on the Goodison pitch and was replaced by Michail Antonio.
Arnautovic, the man of the match, told Sky Sports: "I don't know [the extent of the injury], we need to check it now.
"It's my knee. I don't know, it's hurting a little bit. We will check it this week."
It would be a severe blow for Manuel Pellegrini's team should Arnautovic be on the sidelines for any length of time.
The smartly finished goal just after the hour-mark was his third of the season.

Arnautovic had linked up well with Andriy Yarmolenko, the summer signing who scored twice in his first start for the club.
Arnautovic provided the assist for Yarmolenko's first before the £17.5million man from Borussia Dortmund curled a second past Jordan Pickford.
The goals sent Pellegrini's team towards their first win of the season.
Four consecutive defeats had left the Hammers bottom of the Premier League before kick-off.
