N’GOLO KANTE showed once again he is football’s Mr. Nice Guy after he accepted a fan’s dinner invite after missing the Eurostar.
The Chelsea midfielder enjoyed another fine display as the Blues thumped Cardiff 4-1 on Saturday to continue their 100 per cent to the season.
After the game the Frenchman was aiming to catch the train back to his homeland from St Pancras.
Unfortunately for Kante he missed his Eurostar, leading to him Googling the nearest mosque so he could perform his evening prayers.
Worshippers not only got a surprise when they spotted the 27-year-old midfielder – they got an even bigger one after inviting World Cup winner to come over for dinner.
And eating “rice and curry”, the ex-Leicester City star joined the lads on the sofa to tune in to Match of the Day.
Twitter user @jahrul999 showered the ace with praise after his super Saturday night.
After describing their evening along with a snap of the pair, they wrote: “True definition of being humble. What a man.”
Another Tweeter called AbzzyRahman shared an image of Kante coming over for the meal after claiming one of his friend's younger brother met him at the mosque.
He wrote: “When your friend's younger brother meets Kanté in the mosque for evening prayers and invites him over for dinner. What a humble person Kanté is.”
Kante has continued his stunning summer that saw him helped France to World Cup joy under Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have won all five of their Premier League matches, the latest coming courtesy of an Eden Hazard hat-trick.
The Blues will be hoping to continue that run when they begin their Europa League campaign in Greece against PAOK on Thursday.
