SOUTHAMPTON defender Wesley Hoedt scored an own-goal at Anfield and it left Twitter in hysterics.

Mark Hughes team travelled to Liverpool with Jurgen Klopp's high-flying Reds looking to go top of the Prem.

It's hard enough stopping a front-three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino as it is, without scoring for them.

Xherdan Shaqiri cut inside and hit a right-footed shot that rebounded off Shane Long and then hit Hoedt before going in.
