But he wants to manage in England's top flight after leading Germany at Euro 2020.

Speaking at Fifa's The Best awards in London, Low said: "The Premier League is always interesting for me. It goes without saying.

"It is a very good league. We will see what happens.

"Right now I can't say what will happen in two years' time.

"I enjoy coaching the German national side, and it motivates me.

"But we will take another look at the situation in two years."

The nose-picking boss took over from Jurgen Klinsmann in 2006 and has led his country to five major tournament semi-finals.

Germany won the 2014 World Cup under his management and the former midfielder guided his side to Confederations Cup success in 2017.

But he came under fire this summer as Die Mannschaft slumped to an embarrassing first-round exit in Russia.

He spent eight seasons in club management between 1996 and 2004, beginning with a successive two-year spell at Stuttgart before a stellar single campaign at Fenerbahce where he led the Turkish club to 24 wins from 38 matches.

Low also coached at Karlsruher, Adanaspor as well as Austrian outfits Wacker Innsbruck and Austria Vienna.

But in 2004 he was brought in by Klinsmann as an assistant manager for the national team and helped Germany reach the semi-finals of their home World Cup in 2006, after which the former Tottenham forward declined to renew his contract.
