PAUL POGBA was spotted watching Manchester United's Carabao Cup defeat to Derby from the stands - before leaving early.
The Frenchman was rested, with the ongoing feud between himself and Jose Mourinho hitting the headlines.
But Pogba was at Old Trafford, sitting near Luke Shaw wearing a white tracksuit and hoodie.
The Frenchman could be seen with his feet up as he took in the game.
He then left the stands along with the other unused Manchester Untied players in the 89th minute - when the Red Devils were trailing 2-1.
Marouane Fellaini managed to level the scores in injury time with the game ending 2-2 before Manchester United lost on penalties with Phil Jones missing his spot kick.
Before the match Mourinho slammed the club's record signing, 25, in front of last night's squad - claiming he would never captain United again after criticising his tactics.
Pogba felt his side were too negative against Wolves and made his feelings clear in public - despite being the man who gave the ball away for the equaliser.
The playmaker would have been delighted with United's start as Juan Mata swept home following a flowing team move from the hosts.
However things turned sour for the Red Devils.
It is understood Pogba was not present when Mourinho delivered the news to the squad who were involved in last night's Carabao Cup tie against Derby.
He gathered them together at the club’s Carrington Training Ground telling the players that no individual was bigger than Manchester United.
It was a clear show of Mourinho’s authority to the rest of the players who will have read Pogba’s comments in Monday morning’s papers following the Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Wolves.
Pogba said: “When we are at home we should attack, attack, attack. That’s Old Trafford. We are here to attack. I think teams are scared when they see Man United attacking and attacking. That was our mistake today.”
When the former Juventus star was then asked what is stopping the team from attacking more he replied: “I can’t tell you because I’m a player. It’s not me.”
