Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus hails Jadon Sancho as England ace becomes Europe’s assist king
Former Man City youngster came off the bench to inspire a phenomenal comeback for his side against Bayer Leverkusen
BORUSSIA DORTMUND captain Marco Reus has piled praise on young star Jadon Sancho after the England ace became Europe’s assist king.
The former Manchester City youngster, 18, came off the bench to inspire a phenomenal comeback for his side against Bayer Leverkusen yesterday.
Sancho now has more assists than any other player in Europe with five, including Lionel Messi - despite only playing 124 minutes this term.
And captain Reus couldn't speak highly enough of Sancho, saying: "The opposition know we have a real weapon in action as soon as Jadon enters.
"We are glad we have such an ace up our sleeve."
Sancho now also has the best assists-per-minute ratio in Europe since heading to Germany in September 2017 after his pair yesterday.
