Why is Cristiano Ronaldo not playing for Juventus TONIGHT, and does it have anything to do with the rape allegation?

JUVENTUS welcome Young Boys for a Champions League Group H tie, but Cristiano Ronaldo will be unavailable.
The Portuguese star - who is also being investigated as part of a 2009 rape allegation which he denies - is suspended for the match.
Why is Cristiano Ronaldo not playing for Juventus?
THE PORTUGUESE superstar is suspended for this clash following his red card against Valencia.
Juve were forced to play more than 60 minutes with ten men, but still managed to run out winners thanks to a brace from Miralem Pjanic.
Ronaldo was sent off for the first time in a Champions League game after an off-the-ball clash with Jeison Murillo.
It looked as if he pulled the defender's hair, but was viewed as a soft dismissal by many - including the man himself, who burst into tears and took several minutes to leave the field.
And on Monday, October 1, the Ballon d'Or winner missed training due to his lack of involvement in the game.
Ronaldo's omission from the squad therefore has nothing to do with the recent rape allegations which he vehemently denies.

When does he return from suspension?
INITIALLY there were fears that Ronaldo would miss the two games against his former club Manchester United.
But Uefa have upheld a one-game ban, meaning this clash is the only game he will sit out.
Juventus play United at Old Trafford on October 23, before a return fixture in Turin on November 7.
