claims Liverpool, City and Spurs will rival United if the Serie A side are prepared to do business.

And the trio sent scouts to the Stadio Olimpico to see the 23-year-old score in I Biancocelesti's 4-1 win over Genoa last month.

Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi is desperate to hold onto the Serbian star valued at £70million.

And despite huge interest from the Premier League, the Italian side are hopeful of agreeing a new deal for the midfielder who has another four years to run on his current contract.

City are keen to add another midfielder to their ranks after Pep Guardiola seeks a long-term replacement for 33-year-old Fernandinho.

Pep missed out on his top target Jorginho who opted to join Chelsea.

Liverpool are well a stocked in central midfield with Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum, Naby Keita and Fabinho all at Jurgen Klopp’s disposal.

Spurs failed to add a single player in the summer and would struggle if there was a bidding war for Milinkovic-Savic who moved to Rome from Genk three years ago.
