The pair will appear on November 14 where they are expected to lift the lid on their dramatic rags to riches life.

And in doing so they will be following historical titans such as Sir Winston Chruchill and the Dalai Lama by taking to the speaking box.

The great and the good have been invited to address those studying at the elite university in the past, including four US Presidents.

There have also been a number of footballers who have spoken over the years, including Diego Maradona, Sir Geoff Hurst, Paul Gascoigne and more recently Hector Bellerin.

And now the Vardys will join the list of those being invited to speak at a special evening next month.

The rise of Vardy from pub player to Premier League winner and England international is the stuff of fairytales.

Vardy, 31, was dumped by Sheffield Wednesday as a 16-year-old and ended up turning out for local amateur side Stocksbridge Park Steels.

His talents were spotted by FC Halifax Town before Fleetwood snapped him up to lead their Conference promotion challenge in 2011.

And just a season later, in which he scored 31 goals in 36 games, Leicester splashed out £1million to take him into the professional game.

The unbelievable story took another twist when he fired the Foxes to the Premier League title in 2016, then booked a place on the plane for the European Championship with England that summer.

His rise to stardom has been mirrored by wife Rebekah, who has made the most of her Wag spotlight to forge a career in reality TV.

She was a big hit on I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here in 2017 when she proved she was more than just a wife of a footballer.

Her exploits in the jungle have helped her establish a platform to become an ambassador for Barnardo's and a campaigner for mental health awareness.
