MAURIZIO SARRI is chasing Italian teen sensation Sandro Tonali - and will blow Serie A's giants out of the water with a £20million offer.
The Chelsea boss sent his scouts out to watch the 18-year-old Brescia midfield star again this week during the 4-1 win against Padova.
Tonali has lit up Serie B with his performances and Juventus, Roma, Inter and AC Milan are all chasing his signature.
Sarri is a long-term admirer and wanted Tonali at Napoli a year ago, but a big Chelsea offer would put them at the front of the queue in January.
Tonali is a composed playmaker with a sharp turn of pace and has impressed Sarri with his maturity for such a young age.
He has even been touted for a full international call-up already after super shows in Italy's Under-19s.
Dubbed the 'new Andrea Pirlo', the Blues are believed to have made Tonali a top priority.
He is tied down at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti until 2021, and has impressed this season for the Little Swallows - chipping in with three assists in seven games.
Chelsea have dazzled this season in the Premier League as they sit in second place - winning six and drawing two of their opening eight games.
But they have been rocked by the news that Belgian international Eden Hazard wants to move to Spain in the future to better his chances of winning the Ballon d'Or.
