But the stylish defender insists he is not in a rush to quit Serie A and 'feels at home' in Milan
MANCHESTER UNITED and Chelsea target Alessio Romagnoli snubbed a summer Premier League move, claiming he “feels at home” in Milan.
The highly-rated defender moved the San Siro from Roma three years ago and has gone on to become an integral part of Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso’s side.
Chelsea are long-term admirers of the 23-year-old have pushed to land the Italian international during the last three transfer windows.
While the Blues still remain keen, United have entered the race as Jose Mourinho wants another central defender to bolster his ranks in January.
But the stylish stopper revealed he has no plans to quit Milan yet despite some huge offers from the Premier League.
He told : “I like the city, the only thing I miss is the sea in Nettuno (near Rome). Maybe I’ll hang a picture on my wall.

“I’m happy with my teammates, Gattuso and the supporters.
“I was happy to have offers from the Premier League, but I feel at home here.
“Milan will get back to winning, it’s a solid club.
Milan sit tenth in Serie A and are already 12 points off the pace set by leaders Juventus, with their only realistic route to the Champions League next season is to win the Europa League.
He added: “We’ll fight to qualify for the Champions League and to progress in the Europa League.
“Now we have one more year of experience on the pitch for our young players and some new important players.
“I want to play in it (the Champions League) with Milan as soon as possible.”
Chelsea face Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
