TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO has risked the wrath of Chelsea’s hierarchy after ‘liking’ a tweet of Manchester United’s Anthony Martial.

Bakayoko, a £40m signing from Monaco last summer, was sent packing by Maurizio Sarri on loan to AC Milan after a dreadful first season in west London.

And that criticism only intensified this weekend, following some careless activity on social media by the midfielder.

Following the Blues’ thrilling 2-2 draw with United on Saturday, Bakayoko made a careless decision to 'like' a post on Twitter.

That happened to be from his compatriot and former Monaco team-mate Anthony Martial – who dazzled in west London notching an impressive brace.

The United star had posted a picture of himself celebrating scoring for the Red Devils and pointing to the club badge.

Bakayoko 'liked' the tweet, thus causing a stir on social media with many Blues fans incensed at why exactly he'd do such a thing – considering that his future is already in the balance at Stamford Bridge.

Bakayoko, 24, has since 'unliked' the tweet, and while it isn’t the worst act a footballer has ever committed on social media – it’s certainly a misguided one.

Bakayoko has started just twice for the Italian giants since joining on a season-long loan, both in the Europa League, against Dudelange and Olympiacos respectively.

While Milan have the option to make Bakayoko's move permanent, that looks very unlikely as things stands – considering the midfielder’s unspectacular start to life in Serie A.

Milan, who are currently 12th in the table, take on fierce rivals Inter in the city's derby later tonight, with the Nerazzurri sitting pretty in fourth after a solid start to the season.
