TWO Chelsea stars were utterly humiliated in Chelsea's open training session yesterday as they prepared to take on BATE Borisov.

The Blues were working hard getting ready for their Europa League tie this evening when Danny Drinkwater and Emerson Palmieri were left red-faced.

Thanks to Uefa rules, media were invited to watch Maurizio Sarri and Co train - with hilarious results.

Firstly, Drinkwater was smashed square in the face by a Marcos Alonso header during a keep-ball drill - as he was caught completely unaware.

Rather than play it cool for the cameras, the Chelsea squad erupted into fits of hysteria at the stricken former Leicester star.

Moments later, Emerson was involved in a blunder of his own.

Running with the ball, Pedro spotted the Italian full-back and fired a pass in his direction.

Unfortunately for Emerson, he was left praying for the ground to open up in front of him as the ball slipped under his foot and away.

Earlier in the day, Sarri revealed Eden Hazard would miss the game against BATE with a back injury.

Hazard came in for some rough treatment in the 2-2 draw with Manchester United last weekend and is now a doubt for their clash with Burnley.
