CELTIC star Eboue Kouassi leaves the pitch in agony after being grabbed in the privates by Hearts forward Steven MacLean.
The clash mirror the infamous incident between Vinnie Jones and Paul Gascoigne.
Ivorian Kouassi was marking MacLean at a corner when the Jambos star reached round and clenched his fist around Kouassi's testicles.
Kouassi was already in some discomfort after landing awkwardly when challenging for a header earlier in the first half of the Betfred Cup semi-final.
He went off soon after the incident - being replaced by Scott Sinclair - and was shown holding his privates while in obvious pain.
For his part, MacLean looked to have a bit of a hot head during the game.
He was booked in the first minute following a challenge on Mikael Lustig.
Astonishingly, match officials missed MacLean's blatant grab despite his victim falling to the floor in pain.
MacLean now could face retrospective action is the compliance officer decides to investigate.
The iconic image of Jones grabbing Gazza's meat and two veg came from when Wimbledon hosted Newcastle at Plough Lane back in February 1988.
