Paul Pogba hints tensions are easing at Manchester United as he calls Old Trafford his home ‘forever’

The Frenchman appeared more than optimistic about his future at the Premier League giants

PAUL POGBA has hinted he wants to stay at Manchester United after describing Old Trafford as his "home forever".

The French midfielder has  had numerous disagreements with boss Jose Mourinho this season that culminated in a apparent bust-up in training.

That was all caught on camera, with Pogba later insisting it was all a misunderstanding.

But it hasn't stopped rumours all season that the 25-year-old could leave United for the second time.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and even his old club Juventus have all been linked with making a move for the flamboyant star.

However if a recent interview he gave with French website is anything to go by, the player himself wants to stay put.

He said: "Coming back to Manchester United was like coming home.

"This has always been my home and it forever will be."

Back in September SunSport reported how Pogba accepted his "future is in Manchester", but hinted that this could all change.

Speaking to Sky Germany back then, he said: "My future is currently in Manchester.

"I still have a contract, I'm playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the near future.

When asked about claims his relationship with Mourinho had broken down, the France star nodded and said only: "We have a pure coach-player relationship, that's right.

"One thing I can assure you: I will always give 100 per cent, no matter which coach I always give everything. I cannot say more."
