Arsenal target Ryan Sessegnon casts desolated figure as Fulham become relegation favourites with disappointing defeat at Huddersfield

RYAN SESSEGNON cut a desolate figure last night after Fulham's 1-0 loss away to Huddersfield.

The flying winger, 18, was seen slumped on the John Smith's Stadium turf completely alone after his team-mates bolted to the dressing room.

The defeat saw the Terriers leapfrog Fulham in the league, with Slavisa Jokanovic's men now dead-last.

As pressure mounts on big-spending Jokanovic, it was youngster Sessegnon who appeared to take the defeat hardest.

The left-winger has been on the radar of Arsenal and Liverpool for some time now as he aims to force his way into the England set-up.

As the West Londoners' form continues to fade - despite a major summer influx, including the signing of Jean Michael Seri - Sessegnon could now be tempted into a change.

Manchester United are Tottenham have also expressed their interest - with Fulham doing everything in their power to cling on to him.

Last month, it was revealed the club are desperately trying to convince Sessegnon to sign a new long-term contract.

However, as yet, the England Under-21s star is yet to put pen to paper on the deal.

Sessegnon - who's scored once in 13 games this season - has two years left on his current contract at Craven Cottage.
