Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos leaves Viktoria Plzen star Milan Havel bloodied after appearing to elbow him in the face
The world of social media was scathing at the defender for another 'accidental collision'
SERGIO RAMOS has once again come in for criticism after his stray elbow left an opponent bleeding from the nose.
The robust Real Madrid centre-half was chasing back Milan Havel during the Spanish giants' Champions League game against Viktoria Plzen.
As he stretched for the ball, his elbow crashed into the face of the 24-year-old Czech player.
The result was Havel was left with what appeared to be a bust nose, blood seeping onto the turf - while Ramos as he usually does, pleaded his innocence.
And the world of social media were quick to criticise the 32-year-old defender.
Many compared his actions to how he countered Mo Salah in last year's Champions League final.
The Liverpool ace was left with an injured shoulder after a tussle with Ramos and was forced off.
Others were sure Ramos knew exactly what he was doing.
Former Celtic and Scotland ace Craig Burley described the elbow as "a disgrace" and added that he "gets away with it too much".
"Sharaaz" wrote: "Sergio Ramos is the greatest villain of our generation."
