ARSENAL are ready to sell David Ospina to Napoli despite the Colombian’s impressive loan spell with the Italian club.
Ospina, 30, does not figure in Unai Emery’s Emirates plans following the signing of £22.5million Bernd Leno this summer.
Napoli have the option to sign the Colombian international on a permanent basis for a fee in the region of £3.5m in the summer.
But coach Carlo Ancelotti has been so impressed with Ospina’s efforts as stand-in for the injured Alex Meret that he is keen to complete the signing in January.
Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil has declared he could end his career at Arsenal - and could carry on playing until the age of 38.
The World Cup winner has impressed this season under Unai Emery, flourishing under the Spaniard with the Gunners chasing a top four place.
Ozil - who committed his future to the club in January to extend his stay until 2021 - has netted four times in 14 games in all competitions this season.
And speaking to the Evening Standard, the former Germany international insisted he is open to the idea of hanging up his boots at the North London side.
The ex-Real Madrid playmaker said: "Why not? I am still young, I am 30.
"In football, everything is possible but I am really happy to play for a big club like Arsenal. I just enjoy it and I can imagine finishing my career at Arsenal.”
