Leeds and Aston Villa keeping tabs on Cardiff winger Kadeem Harris with Bluebirds yet to open contract talks
Attacker, 25, scored in the 4-2 win over Fulham and has impressed since being given a chance in the first team
KADEEM HARRIS has sparked interest from Aston Villa and Leeds after starring in Cardiff's survival bid.
The 25-year-old winger has yet to open talks over a new deal to keep him with Neil Warnock's side beyond the end of the season.
And his form has alerted the Championship heavyweights, with Bolton also monitoring his situation.
Harris scored in the 4-2 win over Fulham and played a big role in the victory at the weekend against Brighton that has boosted hopes of staying in the Premier League clubs.
Top-flight clubs could also join the race for the ex-Wycombe Wanderers star.
He can talk to sides in January over a pre-contract agreement, with clubs looking at snapping up a player who has adapted quickly to the Prem.
Harris was loaned to Brentford when Cardiff were last in the top flight and also had a short-term move to Barnsley.
He suffered injuries last season but has forced his way into Warnock's plans.
Warnock has spoken of his surprise at Harris' rise, despite his obvious talents.
He said: "I didn't think I'd ever play him if I'm honest.
"At the start of the season I didn't, but he's just changed my mind. He deserves it.
"He's been the best player in training for the last six weeks, he's been an absolute breath of fresh air for me as a manager."
