DEJAN LOVREN has continued his war of words with Sergio Ramos and then appeared to call Spain “p*****”.

Lovren made the jibes after Croatia’s dramatic 3-2 Uefa Nations League win over the Spaniards in Zagreb on Thursday.

The pair have been at each other since the Champions League final when Ramos crocked Mohamed Salah, before going on to mock the reaction to his challenge.

Lovren was not buying into the notion the Real Madrid skipper is one of the best defenders in the business and suggested he is lucky to play for a team in a league where his errors are not that costly.

The Croatian stopper said: “He has many more mistakes than me but he’s at Real Madrid.

“With Ronaldo, when you make a mistake, it’s 5-1, 5-2 and nobody sees the mistake.”

Ahead of facing Croatia, Ramos was adamant he would not respond toLovren during his pre-match presser.
However, the Spaniard who has won every major trophy for club and country going could not resist a sly dig at the defender who lost both the Champions League and World Cup finals in a matter of months.

Ramos said: “I’ve said it many times, I don’t know if these things are said out of frustration or for other reasons.

“I’m not going to answer Lovren or whoever wants to win three front pages or start the news bulletin.
“Everyone wins things for himself on the pitch.”

And after beating Spain thanks to a late winner from Tin Jedvaj after Ramos made it 2-2 from the penalty spot, the Croatians wildly celebrated in their dressing room with Lovren getting stuck in on Instagram live.

He seemed concerned about aiming another dig at Ramos saying "elbowed him good" while making a similar motion with his arm.

Lovren went on to say: "Haha! 3-2! Go ahead and talk now buddy. Buddy!

“They are a bunch of p******”.

He was at it again on Instagram this morning, posting a picture of him winning a header above Ramos, alongside the caption: "Good morning Croatia."

The win means there is everything to play for in Group 4 ahead of their trip to Wembley on Sunday.

An England win will see Gareth Southgate’s men top the group and seal a place in next summer's tournament but defeat could see them relegated.
