ARSENE WENGER is encouraging Paris Saint-Germain to launch a bid to sign Aaron Ramsey, according to reports.
The Arsenal star is braced to leave the Gunners at the end of the season after the club opted not to offer him a new deal.
He won't be short of potential suitors across Europe with Bayern Munich thought to be leading the chase.
But Wenger, who signed the Welshman from Cardiff in 2008, has reportedly told the French champions not to miss out on the chance to sign the midfielder.
The ex-Gunners boss remains very close to the PSG owners having turned down the chance to manage the side on numerous occasions in the past.
Publication Paris United claim that Wenger has held talks with manager Thomas Tuchel and has advised him to make a move.

Ramsey can sign a pre-contract agreement with a European club in January.
Wales boss Ryan Giggs said: “He’s been linked with everyone, which is expected because he’s a quality player.”
And captain Ashley Williams added: “I’m sure a lot of the big teams will be interested in him.
“It’s not really a surprise because his quality speaks for itself."
