PAUL POGBA will be back in Jose Mourinho's good books after reporting back for Manchester United training a day early.
The squad aren't due back at Carrington until Wednesday but Pogba was spotted arriving in his Rolls-Royce on Tuesday morning.
The 25-year-old had been on holiday in Dubai last week after sitting out of France duty because of a thigh injury.
He had missed the Manchester derby defeat against City but it is hoped he will be fit to play against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Mourinho will be desperate for Pogba to be fit as six other Manchester United stars have been struggling with injury in the last couple of weeks.
Antonio Valencia, Victor Lindelof, Marouane Fellaini, Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial could all be missing.
Lindelof and Rashford both picked up knocks while on international duty, while the others didn't even join with their national teams.
Off the pitch, there are continued rumours that Pogba is trying to broker a move back to Juventus.
Super-agent Mino Raiola was in Italy last week, reportedly to discuss a potential return for Pogba to Turin and for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to AC Milan.
Last week Pogba enjoyed his downtime in the Middle East.
