CHELSEA and Liverpool are both hoping to bring Christian Pulisic to the Premier League, but won't be able to bring him on board until next summer.
Borussia Dortmund have made it clear they're prepared to listen to offers for the United States international, but want Pulisic to see the season out with them.
According to the , the German side have floated a figure of £70million for the forward, whose contract doesn't expire until 2020.
But while Chelsea may have to fill an Eden Hazard shaped hole, the transfer fee would smash their record- which stands at £65 million for Alvaro Morata.
The winger has been heavily linked with a move away from Germany, since suggesting that he'd be open to a move to the Premier League, which put several clubs on high alert.
Liverpool have been eyeing up the forward, but already have a squad brimming with talent.
The versatile player could be used as a means of making places competitive in the squad.
But with Xherdan Shaqiri flying since arriving at Anfield, Naby Keita waiting in the wings and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain hoping to return from injury, Pulisic may have to look elsewhere to ensure he gets the game time he craves.
Dortmund want to hold onto their player for the remainder of the season, despite the winger losing his guaranteed starting spot.
Pulisic is competing with Englishman Jadon Sancho for a spot and as a result of the England youth star's form, he has been pushed down the pecking order.
