Icardi had to wait for his first glimpse at goal and when that came he was brought down by Alderweireld, who received a yellow card.

Movement
Both of these strikers are renowned for their movement and showed it again.
Kane did so in the chances he created for himself and his team-mates.
And while scoring opportunities were few and far between for Icardi, he often needed two Spurs defenders to keep tabs on him.
Temperament
You get the feeling these strikers have two very different personalities.
Kane was once again Mr Cool, unruffled despite having very few opportunities.
Icardi’s Latin passion threatened to boil over in protests to the referee.
Verdict
The dynamics of this group meant it was probably not the best night on which to judge these strikers head-to-head.
But on this match alone you would have to say Kane just shaded it, which is not surprising given Tottenham were the hosts and had more of the ball.
Icardi could not save Inter like he did at the San Siro.
