The Portuguese negotiator masterminded Cristiano Ronaldo’s seemingly-impossible move from Real Madrid over the summer without any hitches.

And Mendes also helped Juventus secure right-back Joao Cancelo from Valencia.

The ace had starred at Inter Milan the season before and looked set for a permanent San Siro switch before the Serie A champs came calling.

Max Allegri has guided his team to the top of the Italian league once again, but is understood to be searching for a new central midfielder.

He already has Miralem Pjanic, Sami Khedira and Blaise Matuidi in his starting XI, with Emre Can and Rodrigo Bentancur supporting from the bench.

But Allegri feels he needs a sixth midfielder so he can rotate and mastermind potential success in the Champions League.

Neves has emerged as one of the top young prospects in the Premier League this season after guiding Wolves to the Championship title last term.

And Mendes reckons he can convince Juve to do business once again, with Neves regularly displaying the characteristics needed to become a world-class player.

While Manchester United are keeping tabs as Mendes also represents Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho.

He added: “The club has signed some amazing players and are thinking of improving the team even more. He would be welcome again here.”
