Chelsea join Bayern Munich in race for Nabil Fekir from Lyon… so is Eden Hazard off?
The World Cup winner is reportedly a target for the Blues who look to bolster their attacking line
CHELSEA have reportedly joined Bayern Munich in the race for Nabil Fekir as the Blues seek reinforcement in their attacking line.
Fekir was on the brink of signing for Liverpool at the start of the season but the deal fell through as a knee injury emerged as the reason behind the transfer collapse.
Lyon held onto the World Cup winner and Fekir has since become a target for Chelsea, with France Football magazine claiming the Blues join Bayern Munich in the race for the 25-year-old.
The Lyon captain reportedly impressed Stamford Bridge bosses with his Champions League performances against Manchester City this season.
Chelsea are apparently looking to bolster their attacking presence as reports have consistently linked Eden Hazard with a move to Real Madrid.
Fekir is often deployed as an attacking midfielder but he has also been used out wide or as a forward for Lyon.
