BARCELONA are reportedly lining up a shock bid for Chelsea flop Alvaro Morata.
RAC1 claims the Spanish striker could be heading back to La Liga in January as cover for Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan has apparently received stem cell treatment for a knee injury, but Barca fear he could relapse during the second half of the season.
Munir has proven ineffectual in the back-up role so far this season, while Paco Alcacer has completed a permanent move to Borussia Dortmund.
And Morata could be just the ticket for Ernesto Valverde following his struggles in England.
The former Real Madrid man has managed to score seven times in all competitions under Maurizio Sarri this season.

And the striker himself is reportedly unhappy too, showing his anger after scoring in the 4-0 win over PAOK.
The report adds that there have been initial meetings between Barcelona and Morata’s people.
And a move could be thrashed out sooner rather than later as Sarri looks to bring in his own players.
The Italian has already conceded the squad could do with at least one new signing in January.
And should Morata leave, it’s more than likely that new arrival will be a striker.
Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi is a target for the Blues, while there is also interest in Lyon’s Nabil Fekir – who could be the perfect false nine.
