Jose Mourinho blow as Real Madrid signal they have no plans to bring him back as manager
Mourinho is looking for a quick return to management after Man Utd sacking but hopes of Real return fading with La Liga giants showing little interest
JOSE MOURINHO'S hopes of making a stunning return to Real Madrid look slim - because the club's directors do not like him.
Mourinho is looking for a quick return to management after being sacked by Manchester United earlier this week.
Mourinho has retained a close friendship with club president Florentino Perez ever since he left as their manager in 2013.
And he has hoped that will be enough to see him get another chance to take control at the Bernabeu.
But it is claimed the remainder of the directors of the European champions just do not want his abrasive style of management back at the club.
Interim manager Santiago Solari is under pressure with the side struggling in La Liga and looking well short of their best form.
Yet even though they remain open to the prospect of having to appoint a new boss in the next few months, the Special One is said to play no part in their thinking.
During his previous stint in control, Mourinho tried to exert his authority on a squad littered with star players with disastrous consequences.
He exiled legendary goalkeeper Iker Cassilas to the fury of the fans and also took on the huge characters of Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos.
By the time he left his position the Real dressing room was split, and memories of the chaos he left still linger in the minds of the club's directors.
They have also watched on with interest at the problems he suffered while in his second spell at Chelsea and then more recently with United.
The mess Mourinho has left at Old Trafford, where he lost the dressing room and continually challenged the board, is seen as a repeat of what happened when he was in charge of Real.
And though Perez is still a huge fan of his abilities, he is the only one who has that opinion at the Bernabeu - making a return for Mourinho highly unlikely.
