Sergio Ramos brushes off Jose Mourinho as someone with ‘high level marketing’
Real Madrid defender was quizzed about a potential return for the Special One when he gave a painfully blunt reply
SERGIO RAMOS has brushed off Jose Mourinho as someone with "high level marketing".
The Real Madrid defender, 32, was quizzed about a potential return for the Special One when he gave a painfully blunt reply.
Mourinho was sacked by Man United earlier this week, while Los Blancos persevere with former Castilla boss Santiago Solari.
But when asked if Mourinho could return to the Bernabeu, Ramos claimed: "We have been five years without Mou and you [media] are still talking about him.
"He is someone who has a very high level marketing. We have won everything, and people still talk about him.
"Solari is here now and we must respect him."
Since being given the boot by United, Mourinho has been tight-lipped on his future.
But his colourful past has seen him alienate himself from some of Europe's top clubs.
Real Madrid is arguably one of the more likely homes for Mourinho, 55, should he look to make a return to management.
However, having worked their way through Zinedine Zidane and Julen Lopetegui already in 2018, the Galacticos are unlikely to part with Solari just yet.
