MANCHESTER UNITED are chasing Bournemouth star Josh King in a bid to bolster their attacking ranks in January, SunSport has revealed.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted he will have an input in all transfer activity, but is thought to be only allowed to make loan moves next month.
Regardless, with the likes of Romelu Lukaku struggling for form under axed chief Jose Mourinho, the Norwegian is itching for new blood.
And one target is compatriot King, currently enjoying a superb season at the Cherries.
But would he be worth the money? Especially after United scored five goals in a game for the first time since the reign of Sir Alex Ferguson...
We compare the Bournemouth man to Lukaku, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard to find out if Josh could be King of Old Trafford.
First and foremost, none of the five players have started more Premier League games this season than King - making the starting XI in all 15 of his appearances.
King has also taken the most shots with 28, but scored just five times with the lowest shot conversion ratio at just 17.9 per cent.
That's lower than Lukaku, who's been on the receiving end of some fierce criticism from United fans for his sub-par season.
Rashford - who's spent much of the season on the wing - boasts far and away the most assists, with five -- compared to King's two.

Lingard is easily the best passer - having spent much of the season in midfield - but in terms of out-and-out strikers, Martial is No1.
The France star has scored the most goals with eight at the best minutes per goal ratio - at just 110.6.
That's nearly three times better than King (260.8) who actually holds the worst record of all five.
Martial has also created the most chances at 21, while also converting an astonishing 42.1 per cent of his shots.
CONCLUSION
So what can we take from the stats?
With Lingard in midfield and Rashford occupying one of the spots on the wing, Martial should be the man to lead the line.
Lukaku is merely good enough for a back-up spot and King arguably isn't really even needed... not this season, at least.
