Man United ace David De Gea’s singer wag Edurne Garcia who stars in Spain’s version of Britain’s Got Talent
DAVID DE GEA'S household has more than one No1.
Man United's goalkeeper has lived with his long-term pop star girlfriend Edurne Garcia since she relocated to Manchester in 2019.
But that came as quite a surprise after claims that the Spain's Got Talent judge made some disparaging comments about the city.
While working on television in 2015, Edurne is said to have agreed with a presenter who described Manchester as "uglier than the back of a fridge".
She denied the claims and said the comments were taken out of context.
In the same year, Edurne represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria, with a song called Amanecer - which translates to 'dawn'.
She finished 21st in the year that Electro Velvet represented the UK with 'Still in Love with You' and ended up 24th while Sweden won.
Edurne is mainly known for singing after being discovered on Spain's popular talent show Operacion Triunfo.
She finished sixth and released her first studio album the same year in 2006 which earned her a gold record.
Ten years later and De Gea's girlfriend was on the other side of the table.
Edurne was employed as a judge on Got Talent Espana in 2016 and works alongside Risto Mejide, Paz Padilla and Eva Isanta.
But she now has a 1,300-mile commute to Madrid from Manchester for work.
In March, the pair welcomed their first child together - newborn daughter Yanay.
They even spent a whopping £1,500 for a new pram. How's that for travelling in luxury?
