Who on earth is Marco Rose?
He has been boss of RB Salzburg since 2017, rising to prominence after leading the unheralded Austrians to the Europa league semi-final last year.
They romped to the league title in the same season — and they look set for a repeat as they are unbeaten and 14 points clear.
Who was he managing before Salzburg?
Nobody at senior level.
The German worked his way up through the youth ranks at the club, the highlight coming after they beat Manchester City and Barcelona on their way to the 2017 Europa League youth title.

Rose played under Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel – and he has been quick to praise the Liverpool manager’s impact.
