Man Utd stars heading for Dubai as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plans warm-weather training camp
United stars will fly out and stay at the five-star One&Only Royal Mirage Arabian Court Hotel
OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER will fly his Manchester United squad for a warm-weather training camp in Dubai next week.
After the FA Cup clash with Reading on Saturday lunchtime, the squad will jet off to the Middle East for a four-night stay at the five-star One&Only Royal Mirage Arabian Court Hotel.
Rooms at the swanky hotel cost £350-a-night - but Solskjaer does not intend for the trip to be for rest and recuperation.
The Norwegian, who has won three of three games and seen his side score 12 goals since taking over from Jose Mourinho, wants to sharpen his squad for the second half of the season.
The Manchester United legend believes the trip will bring the players closer together but also wants to use the trip to improve fitness and assess which characters he can rely on during his spell.
Solskjaer, 45, has lifted the mood of the entire club since taking over from Mourinho at the start of December.
Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw are just two players who have been rejuvenated under Solskjaer.
The caretaker boss has not been afraid to show he has a sterner side as well.
He blasted Anthony Martial for missing training on Christmas Day - with the French winger now mysteriously deleting his social media accounts in the aftermath.
Solskjaer told Stadium Astro: "Never ever, ever, ever forget where you are and what badge you are wearing when you are playing because we do have a different history to other clubs.
