CELTIC have confirmed the loan signing of Oliver Burke from West Brom.
The midfielder, 21, becomes Brendan Rodgers' first signing of the January transfer window.
Burke - Scotland's most expensive player - joined the Baggies in 2017 after struggling at RB Leipzig following a £13m move the previous year.
The winger has made just one appearance this season in the Carabao Cup but has failed to feature in any of the Championship side's league games.
And he admits he's looking forward to playing in Scotland after sealing a move to the Bhoys.
Burke said: "Delighted to join Celtic for the rest of the season. Can't wait to get started!
"Looking forward to playing in Scotland."
Speaking on the 21-year-old's move, West Brom's sporting director backed the Scotland Under-21 star to show what he can do as he confirmed.
He said: "To be fair to Oli, there have been a lot of changes at the club since his arrival which have not helped him as he confirmed there is no loan-to-buy option.
"The opportunity to join a club of Celtic’s stature on loan was felt by everyone to be the best pathway to help develop his career.

“Oli liked what Celtic had to offer and he has obviously got the opportunity to play on a great stage which should be of benefit to him.
“I would stress that there is no ‘option to buy’ clause at the end of the loan and he will be back with us at the end of the season.
"We will be keeping a close eye on his progress and still believe that in Oli we have a talented player who we are anxious to develop and progress.”
Burke is now set to join up with the Celtic squad for their winter training camp in Dubai.
